Setting Your Message Format

Although supports Microsoft Word as an email editor, several key features of the interface are not available when this option is enabled.

Tip: For an optimal user experience, we recommend that you do not use Microsoft Word as your default editor when composing an secure email message.

To view/edit your mail format settings:

1 From the Outlook main menu, click Tools and then select Options. The Options window appears.
2 Click the Mail Format tab.
3 Ensure the Use Microsoft Office Word options are not selected. If these options are selected, deselect the checkboxes, click Apply and then click OK to close the dialog box.

Note: If Microsoft Word is not installed on your computer, these options will not be available.
